The Ferris Company is family owned and operated. We are conveniently located in Kutztown, Pennsylvania just off highway RT. 78. All our employees are 40 Hr. hazwhopper trained and also fit tested for half and full face respirators. Also emergency care (CPR) and first aid trained so to better serve our clients. Currently we operate a Geoprobe 540UD direct push sampler with a GH42 hammer. This unit delivers 1800 blows per minute with 15,000 pounds per blow at the top of the probe rod. Along with a 54" probe cylinder stroke, 20,000 lb. down force and 27,000 lb. retraction force. We also have a full compliment of 1.25 and 2.125 tooling. All mounted on a 4 wheel drive diesel pickup truck. Thereby allowing for economical and expedient mobilization. Our theater of operation extends through PA, NJ, NY, DL and Maryland minimal mobilization fees, and in some cases no mobilization fees at all. The direct push technology is well suited for Phase II  follow up studies, site assessment, soil classification, piezometers and observation wells.
